May 14, 2011 10am-4pm You are invited to the Second Annual Pike County "Dog and Pony Show” on May 14 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chestnut Oak Center (Sandefur Rd. & Hwy 19 South, 5.5 miles south of Zebulon)
Free admission!! (Donations will be gladly accepted). The main goals of the event are to have fun, learn something, and showcase our local animal clubs and organizations. (Please note owners are responsible for their pets. All pets must have current vaccinations, all equine must have Proof of Negative Coggins, no aggressive pets will be allowed, dogs must be on a six foot leash at all times and under the direct supervision of an owner over the age of 17).

The Dog & Pony Show 2011 was a success. The Pike County Horse Club would like to thank all the participants, vendors & supporters. There were fun games on horseback, costume classes for horses and dogs and many educational exhibitions as well as silent auctions. A special thanks to the Pike County Ag Authority for making the day possible. The arena & footing is perfect and it was wonderful to see the public enjoying it.
